Kabylake: No Windows 7 32-Bit Support for ACPI Driver
Windows 7 Users with Kabylake Processors Take Note
Skylake Processors Only and 64-Bit Only
For those still running Windows 7, take note that only Skylake processors are compatible with the operating system. Unfortunately, Intel does not provide a 32-bit driver for the device on Kabylake platforms.
This means that 32-bit versions of Windows 7 will not be able to use the ACPI Driver that supports the Kabylake platform. If you are using a Kabylake processor and want to use Windows 7, you will need to use a 64-bit version of the operating system.
Intel advises that only Skylake processors can support Windows 7. If you switch to Windows 7 64-bit, you can install a hotfix that is only good for Windows 7 64-bit.
