Odds still on Sunak, despite latest poll blow
Rishi Sunak remains the favourite to be the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, despite a recent poll that showed a drop in his popularity.
A YouGov poll conducted on 16-17 January 2023 found that Sunak's approval rating had fallen by 7 points since December, to 28%.
However, Sunak still leads the field of potential candidates, with 33% of respondents saying they would vote for him in a leadership election.

Wallace is the current Defence Secretary and has been praised for his handling of the UK's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the latest odds from Betfair, Sunak is the clear favourite to be the next Prime Minister, with odds of 4/6.
Mordaunt is the second favourite, with odds of 4/1, followed by Truss (6/1) and Wallace (8/1).
