A car crash in Walla Walla has caused a power outage that is affecting about 6,000 customers, according to PacifiCorp. The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the intersection of Walla Walla Avenue and Roosevelt Street. A vehicle crashed into a power pole, causing the power outage.

PacifiCorp crews are on the scene and are working to restore power as quickly as possible. The company estimates that power will be restored by 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night. In the meantime, customers are being asked to conserve energy.

The Walla Walla Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
